TRCC Members Actively Participated in the Business Mission of Moscow Companies in Bangkok
On 11 March 2026, the opening of the Business Mission of Moscow Companies took place in Bangkok, bringing together representatives of companies interested in international cooperation, new partnerships, and the promotion of Moscow-made products in the Thai market.
The programme focused on presenting business projects, exploring market opportunities, and holding B2B meetings with potential partners. The mission served as an important platform for strengthening practical business dialogue and expanding trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Thailand.
Members of the Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) took an active part in the event, supporting direct engagement between Russian and Thai businesses and contributing to the development of new commercial connections.
At the opening ceremony, TRCC President Vitaly Kisselev delivered a welcoming speech. In his remarks, he noted that the visit of the business delegation was taking place during a challenging period for international trade, marked by ongoing sanctions, logistics constraints, and payment-related difficulties. At the same time, he stressed that every period of difficulty also creates new opportunities.
Mr. Kisselev highlighted that the current external economic environment is encouraging Thai companies to explore new areas of international cooperation beyond traditional channels, and that cooperation with Russia is clearly one of those directions. He also noted the growing interest of Thai businesses in Russia, which has been reflected in the continued growth of TRCC membership. While many of the new members are Thai companies seeking to expand sales and enter the Russian market, there are also businesses interested in competitive Russian products, including in sectors represented during this mission.
He further emphasized that business missions of this kind are an important and promising instrument for strengthening bilateral trade and economic ties. Guided by the Cooperation Agreement between the Moscow Export Center (MEC) and TRCC, signed in September 2024, the Chamber actively contributed to the preparation of the event and supported the dissemination of information about the mission among TRCC members as well as within the wider Thai and international business community in Bangkok.
TRCC welcomes initiatives aimed at expanding business cooperation between Russia and Thailand and remains committed to supporting projects that create new opportunities for companies in both countries.
TRCC wishes all participants of the business mission productive meetings, successful negotiations, and strong results in promoting Russian products in the Kingdom of Thailand.
