ABOUT TRCC

The Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) was officially registered on November 6, 2005. It is the direct successor of the Thai-Russian Trade Association (TRTA), which gained wide acceptance and popularity throughout its 7 years of activity (established in 1999).

Today, the TRCC boasts a membership of more than 70 members. These include well-known Thai companies such as CP Group, TPI Polene PLC, Saha Pattana PLC, Siam Steel International PLC, King Power Group, Kasikornbank, Eximbank, and others, as well as several Russian companies and Russian-Thai joint ventures operating in Thailand. The Chamber represents companies involved in various business activities, including manufacturing, export and import, agriculture, ICT, banking, tourism, hotels, logistics, services, legal services, media, and many others. Both the Russian Ambassador to Thailand and the Thai Ambassador to Russia are Honorary members of the TRCC.

The Chamber conducts its activities in close cooperation with organizations such as the Thai-Russian Business Council, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the Board of Investment (BOI), the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Russian Embassy, and the Russian Trade Representation in Bangkok. On the other hand, it has close partnership relations with major Russian business associations such as the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIRF), the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), the “Delovaya Rossiya” (Business Russia) association, and several regional chambers of commerce, which allows the TRCC to better serve the interests of its members. It is a member of the Board of Trade of Thailand and the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand.

The main objectives of the TRCC are to:
