On August 18, 2023 the TRCC organized an event entitled: "Get to know the Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce" in Phuket in order to promote the chamber among Russian and Thai business communities on the island, which is the most popular tourist and business destination for Russian nationals in Thailand. The event was held at the "Royal Phuket City" Hotel and comprised a seminar and a networking cocktail reception. Over 100 participants attended the event, among them such VIP guests as the Consul-General of Russia in Phuket, President of the Phuket Chamber of Commerce, Chief of Police and several others.
The seminar was opened with welcome remarks by Mr. Yuri Lyzhin, Trade Commissioner of Russia in Thailand, after which the TRCC President, Mr. Vitaly Kiselev informed the participants about the history and activities of the Thai-Russian chamber. This was followed by presentations by several TRCC members including "Harvey Law Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd." (on "Opportunities for Alternative Residence and Citizenship"), "Siam Trade Development Co., Ltd." (about Regulatory Services for Companies in Thailand) "N-Tech Lab Co., Ltd." (on "Modern Face Recognition Technologies for Smart Cities"), and "ImagineHealth Co., Ltd." (on Health Tourism in Thailand).
After the seminar participants were invited to the roof-top restaurant for an informal networking cocktail party, which featured a live music performance, various Thai & Russian food and drinks, as well as a fun-filled lucky draw, where the grand prize was a business class round trip ticket: Phuket-Moscow-Phuket donated by Hainan Airlines.
