TRCC Members Play Key Role at the Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2025 in Phuket

From 26 to 28 November 2025, the first Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2025 was held at Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort, bringing together leading decision-makers from government, business and investment communities of both countries.
Members of the Thai–Russian Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) took part in the Forum as key partners and active contributors to the business programme, representing Russian–Thai cooperation across investments, trade, healthcare, logistics, digital technologies, HoReCa, retail and creative industries.
The Forum gathered around 400 investors and experts and more than 200 companies from Russia and Thailand. Over 40 sessions, panel discussions, round tables and workshops were held across ten thematic tracks, including:
  • Banking, Funds & Government
  • Development & Real Estate
  • Transport & Logistics
  • HoReCa & Retail
  • Digital Transformation
  • Healthcare & Biotechnology
  • Education
  • Media
  • Film // Culture, Music & Arts
  • Creative Economy
The overall announced investment potential of the Forum was estimated at around USD 1 billion.
Organised by the Russian–Thai Business Council (RTBC) with the support of key Russian and Thai ministries, business associations and development institutions, the Forum marked an important step in moving from predominantly commodity-based trade (oil products, fertilisers, metals) towards more complex joint projects in high-tech sectors with significant added value.
In addition to the core business programme, the Forum also featured an exhibition of international projects, a contemporary art exhibition, the Russian–Thai Rectors’ Forum, and the Thai–Russian cultural festival MIR. A key milestone was the announcement of the launch of a Russian–Thai investment fund aimed at supporting projects in both countries.

ImagineHealth and Henning Kalwa: Leading the Healthcare & Biotech Track

A significant contribution to the Forum’s success was made by TRCC member ImagineHealth, which acted as the official Business Partner responsible for curating and leading the Healthcare & Biotechnology Track. The company was represented by its CEO, Henning Kalwa, a member of TRCC.
The Healthcare & Biotech Track, held on 27 November, showcased Thailand’s strengths in healthcare, wellness and biotechnology, as well as opportunities for collaboration with Russian partners.
The day opened with welcome remarks, a moderated discussion and the first keynote speeches, followed by presentations from leading Thai healthcare institutions, including Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS), the Bangkok Hospital network in Phuket, and N Health. Their contributions highlighted Thailand’s advanced clinical capabilities, medical tourism ecosystem and growing innovation in wellness, sports health and longevity solutions.
The second part of the programme focused on concrete collaboration opportunities between Russia and Thailand. Russian speakers included:
  • Andrey Vlasov, CEO, SUPREME PHARMATECH CO., LTD. – on experience in interaction in parapharmaceuticals;
  • Alexander Karasev, Moscow Department of Healthcare – with an overview of Russian wellness and medical centres interested in cooperation with Thailand;
  • Adnan Choudri, Export Operations Director, R-Pharm – on innovative technologies in the Russian pharmaceutical industry.
A practical master class, “From Vision to License: The Legal Roadmap to Opening a Clinic in Thailand”, delivered by Maya Thong-Oui, CEO of Premier Thai Lawyers, provided participants with a step-by-step understanding of regulatory and legal requirements for establishing medical facilities in Thailand.
Speaking on behalf of the Russian–Thai Business Council, Nikita Ryblenkov, Deputy General Director of Novostal-M Holding, emphasised that the Forum clearly demonstrated strong potential for deeper cooperation between Thailand and Russia in healthcare. He also announced that several follow-up initiatives are already in preparation, including an official Thai business delegation visit to the Russian Federation planned for March 2026.
The Healthcare & Biotech Track concluded with closing remarks by Henning Kalwa, who summarised the key takeaways of the day, thanked all speakers and participants, and launched an open-microphone session. Companies were invited to introduce themselves, present partnership interests and share reflections on the Forum. The day ended with dedicated networking activities, including a business “speed-dating” session designed to connect industry leaders and spark future collaborations.
ImagineHealth expressed its sincere thanks to all speakers and partners and confirmed its commitment to continue serving as a bridge for Russian–Thai cooperation in healthcare and biotechnology.

HARVEST CREATION CO., LTD.: Showcasing Russian Wines as Official Wine Sponsor

Another active TRCC member at the Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2025 was HARVEST CREATION CO., LTD., a company specialising in the promotion of Russian wines in Thailand.
As an official wine sponsor of the Forum, HARVEST CREATION CO., LTD. invited guests to discover Russian wines – new terroirs, fresh styles and unique grape varieties now entering the Thai market. The company hosted a dedicated Russian wine tasting, where participants could meet the team, learn more about the producers and explore the wines selected specifically for the Thai HoReCa and retail sectors.
Over the three days in Phuket, HARVEST CREATION CO., LTD. reported good meetings, useful discussions, new contacts and strong speeches across the Forum. The company presented and sponsored its partner Abrau Durso, whose sparkling wine line attracted a great deal of professional interest from buyers, sommeliers and hospitality operators.
Through its role as wine sponsor and its active engagement with the business community, HARVEST CREATION CO., LTD. helped position Russian wines as a distinctive and competitive category in Thailand, creating new opportunities for partnerships, listings and investment along the entire value chain – from import and distribution to hotels, restaurants and boutique retail.

TRCC’s Role in Supporting Long-Term Russian–Thai Partnerships

The participation of TRCC members in the Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2025 demonstrates the Chamber’s role as a reliable partner for companies operating between Russia and Thailand.
Being present at such a high-level platform — with the involvement of ministries, development agencies, investors, financial institutions, universities and industry leaders — enables TRCC members to:
  • access up-to-date information on new projects, tools and support mechanisms;
  • build direct links with potential partners, clients and regulators;
  • promote their own initiatives in trade, services, healthcare, technology and culture;
  • contribute to the practical “roadmap” of Russian–Thai cooperation across multiple sectors.
The Thai–Russian Chamber of Commerce will continue to assist its members in engaging with key international platforms, developing new partnerships and strengthening long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Thailand.
