TRCC Members Participate in Thailand Investment and Expat Services Center (TIESC) Launch

On March 31, 2025, the Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) had the honor of participating in the grand opening of the Thailand Investment and Expat Services Center (TIESC), located on the 6th and 7th floors of One Bangkok, Parade Zone. The event was presided over by Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, with high-level executives from government agencies, the private sector, foreign chambers of commerce, and distinguished ambassadors in attendance.

Prime Minister's Address:

During her speech, the Prime Minister expressed her heartfelt condolences to those affected by the recent earthquake and assured the public that the government is taking proactive measures to inspect building safety across Bangkok. She reaffirmed that Thailand remains a safe and attractive destination for investment and tourism.
The Prime Minister emphasized that TIESC symbolizes Thailand's commitment to openness, innovation, and readiness to welcome investors and talented individuals from around the world. The center will serve as a one-stop service platform, streamlining visa, work permit, and investment-related processes for foreign investors and expatriates.

Strategic Importance of TIESC:

TIESC integrates the functions of three major agencies:
  • Board of Investment (BOI): Investment consultation and support.
  • Immigration Bureau: Visa and work permit processing.
  • Department of Employment: Employment and labor-related services.
This consolidation aims to enhance Thailand’s Ease of Doing Business by offering seamless and efficient services to foreign professionals and businesses.
