TRCC Participates in Nelson Mandela Day Clean-Up Initiative

In honor of Nelson Mandela Day, the Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) proudly participated in a collaborative clean-up event alongside the South African - Thai Chamber of Commerce (SATCC), the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (AustCham Thailand), the Brazil Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. This initiative reflects the charitable spirit and legacy of Nelson Mandela, who dedicated 67 years of his life to fighting social injustice and promoting human rights.

The event, which took place on Saturday, 27 July 2024, at Saphan 55, Khlong Saen Saeb, aimed to encourage members, followers, and supporters of all participating Chambers to devote 67 minutes to improving our community. Inspired by Mandela’s 67 years of public service, volunteers gathered to clean up the area, contributing positively to the environment and embodying the essence of selfless service.

Participants convened at 10:00 AM and spent the morning cleaning a section of Khlong Saen Saeb. The collective effort not only improved the local environment but also strengthened the bonds among different business communities within Bangkok.

Following the clean-up, volunteers and participants celebrated their hard work and the spirit of community at Saphan 55. The event was a resounding success, reflecting the unity and commitment of the Chambers to make a meaningful impact.
