TRCC Participates in JFCCT Delegation Meeting with the Prime Minister of Thailand

The Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) participated in the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT) delegation meeting with the Prime Minister of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, at Government House. The meeting gathered representatives from multiple foreign chambers, reflecting the strong collaborative network of international business communities in Thailand.
The JFCCT delegation, led by Chairwoman Ms. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg, presented six strategic recommendations to strengthen Thailand’s long-term competitiveness and reinforce the country’s position as a leading regional destination for foreign investment:
Enhancing national competitiveness and productivity
Advancing integrated digital government services (Single Sign-On)
Developing future-ready skills through workforce upskilling and reskilling
Strengthening SMEs to adapt to global tax and regulatory challenges
Promoting sustainability and ESG-driven development
Accelerating FTAs, liberalising logistics, and advancing Thailand’s OECD accession process
Prime Minister Anutin was joined by senior government officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Borwornsak Uwanno, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Vice Minister for Commerce Dr. Kirida Bhaopichitr, and Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) Secretary General Dr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi. The discussions focused on Thailand’s strategy to strengthen regional competitiveness, promote transparency in the business environment, attract global investment, and support international trade and economic development.
