The II Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2026 will take place in Bangkok from 29 to 31 October, combining two days of business discussions with sports and cultural activities.

II Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2026 to Take Place in Bangkok

The II Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2026 will take place in Bangkok from 29 to 31 October 2026. Business discussions are scheduled for 30 and 31 October, while the wider programme will also include sports and cultural activities. The forum materials feature the Russian–Thai Business Council.

Business Programme: Drivers of Basic Industries

On 30 October, the business programme will focus on “Drivers of Basic Industries,” covering metallurgy, agriculture and food security, transport and logistics, sustainable energy, and certification and standardisation. The day will also include the plenary session “Russia–Thailand: A New Era of Economic Partnership.”

Business Programme: Drivers of the New Economy

On 31 October, the focus will shift to “Drivers of the New Economy.” Topics will include financial infrastructure, medicine and pharmacy, wellness, the platform economy, real estate and HoReCa, tourism, and the sports economy.

Official Perspectives

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul states in the forum materials: “We are in the heart of Southeast Asia, so Thailand is ready to become a strategic gateway for Russian companies so that they can operate in the big Asian market.”

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Sihasak Phuangketkeow adds: “I look forward to the continued and closer engagement between our business sectors and to further strengthening Thailand–Russia economic cooperation, particularly during the 2nd Russian–Thai Investment Forum in October 2026 in Bangkok.”

Sports and Cultural Programme

Beyond the business discussions, the programme includes a friendly ice hockey match and ice hockey masterclass, as well as a professional and amateur badminton tournament. Cultural activities will include a theatre performance featuring Russian and Thai artists, alongside an exhibition of toys and modern art.

The II Russian–Thai Investment Forum 2026 will run in Bangkok from 29 to 31 October, with the business programme taking place on 30 and 31 October.
